Ive been bubbling mayan microzyme from humboldt in a gallon container for about a 8 days now.

(instructions say 7-10 days)

when i called them for further instructions they said some algae growth on top of the water would be normal.

basically you have to add a few tablespoons of molasses to it, so im sure itll grow other stuff anyway.

but when i took the airstone out today it was covered in black and red globs of growth covering more then 50% of the airstone, and there were black spots growing on the inside of the jug above the waterline.

should i assume that these are a few of the bajillion strains of beneficials in the mayan mycrozyme or is this bad algae that would poison my plants?

i would be asking humboldt this but they arnt answering their phones, will be gone for the weekend and this stuff will prolly have gone bad by monday according to what they say.

any info or tips would be greatly appreciated
