No, that "brown goose", as you called it, is resin, and it will make you slightly high, but nothing like hash.

resin is a good alternative to MJ if you have nothing to smoke and you are bored. I smoke resin whenever i can scrape my bubbler and get a good chunk out when i'm bored. It won't get you as high unless you smoke a shit load, but it's nice to have sometimes.

Ya resin is a no go. I just clean my pieces and my roommate always says. "Dude let me smoke the resin" and I never let him cause its shit and only for addicts that cant handle w/o weed. besides is smells terrible and stinks up the whole apartment. and smoked resin is a bitch to clean off.
