    250 watt HPS or some t5's ?

im currently growin in a 36"H x 27"L x 15"W rubbermaid stealth box. i currently have 3 plants in it now, about 10-12" tall. under 7 cfl's 1600 lumes a bulb. I also have a 250w hps that i would love to use but the temp got way above 135f even with a cooltube setup. so i am currently tryin to find a good cooling method for it for my space.

but back to what YOU were sayin... I think if the 6 in your mentioned dimensions is the height and you have a really good exhaust fan, you should be just fine. as long as your temps dont get above 90f you will be fine.

    good luck:thumbsup:

bro if you can keep your temps down allways go with the hps/mh rather than flo's if you got a 3.3.6 space than it should not be a prob if you leave your door cracked a little with a fan blowin out..i know its not a good exaust but man i am getto

the hps will give you more density for sure. cfl will come out nice as well it will just be a little more fluffy.

    250 watt HPS or some t5's ?

Here are a few pics of the new cabinent i found earlier this morning. It was black so i painted the outside of the cab white and just lined the inside with one of those security blankets from the Wal. Got a peice of wood from Lowes and screwed it to the back of the cab. Put a hole in the top right corner and used the old back piece as the new front door. I put a hole in the bottom left corner of the front piece and ran about 5' of ducting from it The exhaust fan in the upper right corner is a 4.75", 85 cfm cpu cooling fan from The Shack. I have a 250w HPS in it to set it all off. It gets about 85 at the hottest point of the day then down to around 77. Until the lights go out, then it gets down to about 72.

Now I have a quick ?. - Can I use this HPS for the rest of the veg process if I use the same 17/7 light schedule? Then 16/8, I do this to train the plant for the less light for the 12/12 period. I only do the light thing for 4-5 days then I go 12/12 until harvest.

    OPINIONS! And INPUT Please!

    Thnx,
    :smokebong:

Killfrenzi, you should start your own thread, instead of jacking someone elses.

Pitbull, that space is large enough to run a HPS400 with an air cooled hood. That would be your best option for yield in that space. If you cannot do ducting for some reason (hint: take the door off its hinges and replace it with a used one from a salvage store, or panda film, unless company is visitingm then re-hang it to look discreet), you won't be able to grow with any HPS in there anyway. Plants need good ventilation more than any other single thing besides light and water.

so i should just stick with the cfls then because im living in a apartment so i don't want to tear shit apart you know what i mean?Well i have about 5 cfls pushing 1600 lumens a peice those are pretty much at the top and in the middle of the plant. and like just 1 at the bottom/middle as well. ALL in all my hairs are growing crazy in the middle on up.Thats usually how it works right? Obviously the top buds are gonna be fatter then the bottom. But the question is will it be as good as the top taste wise and potent wise or does the light not effect potentcy that much?

bro you dont need to tear shit up for an hps i grow with 575 watts of mh in a closet and all i do is put one fan blowin on my light faceing the door and another blowing out the closet and leave the door open but put a sheet up covering every thing but the fan and there you have it!no holes in doors or walls.my closet is 2x5x6 and it stays around 70 to 73 deg..i had the same set up in a closet 2x2x6 and it ran 78 in the day and 74 at night

ps.. a 250w hps you wont even need a fan in the doorway just leave your door open with one on your light and you will be fine

i dunno my 250w hps in a 4x4x8 closet still put off temps around 78-81 which isnt that bad, but i didnrt really have much of an exhaust. I am currently using the 250w hps in a 21"x18"x56" space with a 4.5" cpu cooling fan, and my temps get aroun 79-81. So i think you should be fine considering space difference. Jus us a couple oscilating fans and I bet youll be fine.

Also.. is your electrical included in your rent?
