(and she WILL find out) She is going to be pissed! No two ways about it! So get your arguments and research ready in advance.

More advice- Don't let your grades fall if you are returning to college. This will be an important argument for you. "Mom, look at my grades- did they go down?" (Hopefully, they will go up as I have observed happen with other ADD kids in the past.) This shoots down the big "amotivational syndrome" myth! If you need study tips- ask.

You need to be able to counter every myth she has had put in her head! Hormones, IQ, amotivation syndrome, cancer (boy! what a whopper THAT ONE is!), schizophrenia,...the whole 9 yards!

Your sleep patterns should level out. Keep a log. You'll need to prove to Mom that cannabis is helping you.

One big thing- you have to remain absolutely calm when you talk with her! (Dang, I know how hard that's going to be- I work with kids with ADD and other disabilities.) It should be two adults discussing a course of medical treatment- but she will likely be rather emotional, so it will be up to you to set the tone of the discussion! Remaining calm adds weight to your side. (I'm a psych major- sorry)

And who knows- maybe she'll turn out to be an "old hippie in disguise" :hippy: and all this hassle will be a "tempest in a teapot"!

Yep...Granny's stoned again (muffins, pipes and a vape or two :hippy and rapping away! LOL Congrats on getting legal. OK that's all for now!

And best off, my mom doesn't know and won't probably know!!! Cross your fingers or pray for me that it stays that way and I'll be home free!!, Laura Rating: 5
