    Needing some advice

First time grower, trying this the all natural organic blah blah way... I placed about 8 seeds in a glass of water, stored them, went through that process, and checked them out about 2 weeks later. About 3 of them cracked and had stems possibly 2-4" long with the 2 little leaves at the top and i decided to place them in a cup with some miracle grow and give them some direct sunlight (on my roof but in a stable place to protect being knocked over by wind)... I had another 3 that cracked but don't even have an inch long stem so i put them in their cups with miracle grow directly under sunlight... Now I am wondering...

1). Did I do something wrong and now have no chance of them growing.

2). Should they be fine just outside full time with normal hours as of now...

3). If i did mess something up or am missing/about to screw up the process what can I do to save them?

    Thanks

Did you buy the seeds from a reputable dealer, or find them in your bag? Bag seed can be very unreliable. Sometimes good... sometimes crap.

    Well Thatkid672,

Sounds like your seeds were old and most likely not stored correctly before you started germination. Try Cannabis Seeds at Auction! and stop play growing. But what do I know?

Yes they were from the bag, but when I said they "cracked" I meant the seeds... The plants themselves are in perfect condition... So should I just stop messing around with these and get quality seeds?

Okay thank you for the advice!

I had some others that I decided to let germinate that I just started yesterday... I have a pretty fair amount too.... Would I have a fair chance with those if I take them out today or tommorow?

dive is right, no need to wait 2 weeks if they have already popped. you can put them in your soil as soon as they crack open.

and seedlings cant handle nutrients (micacle grow) at such an early stage.

yeah i heard of germinating that way bro. but next time try dampening a paper towel then ring it out a little. then fold it over a few times with the seeds in it and keep in a gallon size ziploc bag. within about 3-6 days (depending on the seeds) they should be ready to plant. ive germinated prolly about 35 seeds this way and at LEAST 25 of them were a success. just thought id share sum advice.
iv only had two grows so im not an expert at this shit but i planted all of my seedlings in mircle grow moisture control and damn near every one made it.?.
