Rockwool cubes need to be soaked in water at pH 6 before use, and then squeezed out.
Also, are you watering them often enough? Have you given them any plant food? They look burnt, either from high pH, too much food, or too little water combined with too much heat.
I'm going to go with high pH. Rockwool is not as trouble-free as one might assume.
