Has anyone ever seen this on a plant before?

In the exact place where pre-flowers grow, (you know that little nook between a branch and the main stem) I noticed on one of my plants there's a growth shoot in that place just next to the normal side shoot. Has anyone ever seen this before?
I know it's definately not a calyx or a pollen sack so the only thing it can be is a growth shoot. This is really unusual. I was going to post a pic but the camera's dead so I've done my best with this shitty drawing-

Never seen that before. Ive had even numbered leaves but never a 2nd set of growth shoots. Consider it a blessing. Peace...MrP.
