Hello, I am a newbie so please excuse my ignorance. After reading your posts you convinced me to use LEDS procyon 100's. When you said that they can cover an area of 3x3 is that a total of 9 plants? So 1 procyon to 9 plants in a sq footage formation?
I spoke with the makers of this light and the wholesale price 1-20 is $460.

If you vegged for 6 weeks and then flowered under these lights do you believe that you can pull 8oz from each plant? I was thinking Northern lights or White Widow.

In your opinion how tall would these strains be after 6 weeks of vegging under procyons?

If I understand you, you wanna get 72oz outta 3x3? No way in hell man...Now 8oz in 3x3 area is more realistic...Vegging for 6 weeks? Sounds like you are going big plant setup...If so, you should only have one plant in that 3x3 area...

8oz per plant=HUGE plant...start a thread, and some hydro people will come answer your questions..I dont know shit about hydro...

I have been reading on and off for 2 years but finding accurate data on yields and common yields with a particular strain is not easy to find. The DVDS are not full of that info either. I had people telling me that you can get 1lbs per plant if it is 5ft tall. I couldn't find any data online to back that claim up. Most growers are growing in small areas with plants less then 4 ft. So I am searching for info on plants that reach maybe 6 ft before they are harvested.
Now it seems that LEDs have reached a point where they can be used successfully. It was proven here. And that helps the situation for heat signatures as well as electric bills. I just need more info on yields with bigger plants. So far I have not come across anyone with this info that I really need.

If you are going to use LED and you want 8 oz per plant you had better be prepared to veg a long time and grow a high yield variety. Also use fogging or aeroponics and CO2. Try a veg time of 6 months to start and see how that goes.

Do you have the equipment Ready to GO?

Iscandar You need to start a THREAD but since we are jacking SnS's Thread already... You will not find info on people getting 1lb off a single plant under a LED because it did not happen yet to my knowledge... Anyway I never heard of people getting 1Lb off a single plant unless it is Outdoors... Indoors in W/F's mostly home made jobs I've heard of people getting 14-15 Oz Max... What you are asking for is basically impossible IMO w/ LED or HPS... You need to really rethink what goals you have... What are you looking for 1.)energy savings 2.) Yield 3.) limited Amounts of Plants ect...


If you do not have the equipment we are discussing Tall Tale Gardening...

Figure out what your Goals are and put it all in a THREAD and we will try to help you acheive what is possible and in reason...

no prob on the jack...Iscandar, start your own thread man...your not grasping this idea it seems...you wont get 8 oz a plant in a 1 plant per ft sq...EVER....impossible...you will need about 4x4 for a single plant to yield that much...please keep all questions NOT related to this thread...out of this thread...
