    Just was gifted 3 plants!!!!

So my buddy just gave me 3, 3 month old plants so he says, they look healthy about 1 1/2- 2 feet tall and in 2 - 1 gallon bowl, 2 are in one of the bowls and one has its own, i know these are not big enough pots but i plan on transplanting outdoors and am going to gertens after work to get some soil, i just need some recommendations on cheap but good soil, from what i've read is just dig a big hole and mix the soil and dirt 50/50? theres no preflowers as far i can see and they have just been on his deck... thanks for the help!

With established plants that are going outdoors, a rich compost mixed with vermiculite mixed into the hole would be a better bet. That will probably save you trouble in the long run. I don't really trust promix outdoors unless it is in a pot or raised bed.

Chicken wire or tomato cages aren't a bad idea to support your plants and keep critters from noshing on them.
