Well... for me, the answer to the OPs question is an "OF COURSE"!!! :rastasmoke:
Smoking is worth every gram of it... unfortunately, our society does not think its a good thing, so many of us have to hide our smoking habits, and to try to dodge from the problems (with law, jobs, etc) caused by it, or rather, to adjust our lifes to allow us to keep smoking without much troubles.
Anyway... there was a thread about it not long ago... look at:

And you will see HOW its worth to all of us!:jointsmile::rastasmoke::stoned:

Is it all worth it in the end?
For me and my wife, no. Not worth it to personally use. Too risky legally and too risky health wise if smoked. She plans to become a vape-head when she retires, but she wants it to be medically justified and legal when that time comes.
For many many people, yes it is worth it. For health. For sanity. For relaxation. I just really don't see any difference between a few tokes as medicine or a few tokes as a few sips of red wine. We're got to keep educating folks, though, and also keep using reason and caution.

i do feel that it impacts everyones life in a profound way. But the impact is only as strong as the way you feel about weed itself. Many people "grow out" of weed, because as their life progresses, it becomes less of a priority, while some people continually use it throughout their life, are any one of them better off or worse than the other? It depends on if you think of weed as something that is a sort of immature act, or a way to just something to occupy the time, and its what we're doing, or if you think of it as a positive experience, something that is enjoyable, or even something that relieves pain.
the way that the people around you percieve MJ is also a factor, if the people in your life dont smoke, then eventually you may stop as well because the risks, or the lack of connections with weed dries up, so you stop, or you become friends with more people who smoke, and may start to smoke more. or you may see your friends who smoke doing something which you personally dont agree with and feel that smoking is no longer something that you enjoy, or feel is necessary.
every situation is different, i can see myself going either way, i know that there is a time coming up where i will smoke less and less, and possibly none, and i wont have much of an issue with it. I would also like to imagine that i would still continue to smoke after that part of my life is over. Which also means that for the time being i also want to continue smoking, and do not wish for the slower time ahead, but i feel that it would be necessary, and unavoidable, not that i would get in trouble, but who can say for sure what will happen?
