Ok i have to admit that when it comes to rock wool, i fuck everything up. i dont know what it is, but i cant make anything grow in rock wool. So i just ripped out all 10 clones and decided to start over, since i know which ones are females. Im just going to stick to what i know and use good ol' soil. Im really excited to do this, so once the grow is over i can choose a mother i like and stick with her.


Bombdiggity, hit me up with some of that BB and Bubble and ill smoke u up some NYCD when shes all finished :-) haha.

Ok here it Is again. NYC Diesel and one Hypnoberry. Diesel's all popped on May 24th, Hypno on June 1. using 4 T5's and General Hydro Nutes along with FoxFarm Soil.

what is giving you the ideas on the sex?? whats the signs of this at that early of age.. just curious..

Just on the height of their growth. And it was just a guess. Hey Illin' did you ever move to california?

looking awesome anbesol. cool to hear they're flowering, as much as the NYCD is sure to promise I'm interested in seeing how the Hypnoberry does, it sounds like a pretty decent cross. :smokin:

I never have any luck with rockwool either. I always end up overwatering it. the same goes with those peat pellet things, which I can say have to be worse than rockwool (you have to submerge them in water so they expand, and by that time, you've already overwatered).

I know alot of people that root clones in soil and wouldn't do it any other way. the only advice I can give is not to mist the clones much while rooting like alot of people suggest - as long as the humidity level is fine and the medium stays damp it's unnecessary. what you can end up doing is babying the cuts too much, so they'll be reluctant to root. that's what I've heard at least, and I think that's partially where I've went wrong in my past cloning attempts.

good idea with the tin foil over the pots to reflect some light to the undersides of the leaves. I'll have to remember that. :thumbsup:

the hypno hasnt shown sex yet, but i will let you know. i just chopped the only male NYCD and repotted one of the smaller NYCD into its old pot (i changed the soil, dont worry).

Heres the pic of the chopped Male. you cant see the balls very well, but they were there. its just the top area, i cut the rest up. What i do, as to not bring attention with throwing trash out, i take my plants(that i dont use for hash) and chop then up and store them in gallon zip lock bags in a dark area for a few weeks, they start to rot and no longer look like cannabis.

hey thats a good idea for throwing them out - i wish I had thought of that. I just kinda chop it up as much as I can and then wrap it up in a grocery bag or something. Good thinking :thumbsup:

Ok, So this is amazing, Better Results that i though. Out of the 5 NYCD, One was Male. and Today The Hypnoberry Showed Sex and ....drum Roll Please.....Female!!!


I have 5 Female Plants now, I have taken Clones of 3 of the NYCD since these were the older ones, will take more when the other 2 get bigger. Heres a pic of the garden....Hypno is on far left in white pot.

I feel that out of the 5 seeds that i popped that i was pretty lucky to get a bunch of girls. now hopefully the smoke will be as good as these seeds were expensive. damn ha
