so one night about 3 weeks ago, i chugged a 4 oz robitussin maximum strength cold and cough, im 16 and weigh 120, at 11:20pm, about 30 minutes later everything just felt kinda fuzzy, then 30 more minutes later i went to my friends house and smoked 3 bowls and 2 blunts between 5 people. Right as we were finishing, my feet felt like they turned into stone blocks, then a jolting feeling slowly creeped from my calves to my shoulders, and once it got to my shoulders i went inside and sat on the couch, and we put on Shark Tale. About 20 minutes later i was trippin off the movie, everything was sideways and slightly different colors. I could feel my stomach actin up so i went in the bathroom and yaked all the cough syrup up. then about 10 minutes later i yaked again. then after that i just felt reallly stoned until i went to bed at like 4. what did i do wrong? was i supposed to eat some food or something?

Hmmm i'll tell you what you did wrong. First you took the wrong type of robo. Im not gunna tell you which because I never did robo myself. (I've only tripped on ccc) Secound, you drankt he whole fucking bottle!!!, Third, you decided to drink cough syrup and that out of all the things you did wrong was the wrongest. Sorry but chugging cough syrup is nasty and it kills your liver so i suggest you dont do it again. Its up too you!

Although the rest of the post was wrong, she did get one thing right. It was the wrong kind of cough syrup. Yours is 'cough and cold', you need to go for just 'cough'. The only DXM preparations which are safe to use are the ones which contain Dextromethorphan Hbr as the ONLY active ingredient. The active ingredients are listed on the back of the box. As for Triple C, (Coricidin, aka CCC) stay as far away from it as possible, as it is pretty dangerous because of the antihistamine in it. I recommend Robitussin Cough Gels, which come twenty to a bottle, and total 300mg DXM. It sounds like maybe you DID trip, but were just too stoned to realize it. Next time, I'd suggest using DXM by itself to get a feel for it. As for puking, many many people puke after ingesting, and for some it's part of the DXM ritual.
