    Aero ?

Is it possible to run a same strain DWC culture with six clones or with more than one for that matter?

When using a single DWC reservoir you'll get better results growing clones of the same strain, preferably from the same mother.

Growing different strains in the same DWC will work, but not as efficient due to different rates of nutrient uptake that each strain/plant will have. Also, some might grow much taller than the others unless the different strains grow in similar height.

DWC is a form of aeroponics

DWC is NO form of aeroponics. Aeroponics is a completely different and actually, very opposite of DWC.

DWC is oxygenating a full time nute bath via an air pump and stone. Aero on the other hand is using high pressure to spray nutrient through a sprayer at such a fine mist that it oxygenates the nutrient and sprays the roots, while the roots remain suspended in air.

Aeroponics actually is extremely efficient, however high maintenance and susceptible to power failure. DWC is again the opposite of that.

I have had my Aeroponic system running for a week now, and absolutely love it. Root growth is incredible and I love not having to worry about when I have to water.

My system is a clone of Hatch's, cost me under $50 to make, and all parts came from Lowes.

Thanks for the info. What I had read didn't include a lot about varieties of aero so my sources were probably incorrect. Perhaps someone might direct me towards a title/website more accurate

hey sog, don't take any one persons word as gospel, research several sources and, once you get to know people, you'll know who to listen to

check this link out, i think you'll find some interesting stuff (this is the guy that inspired av8tor)

Now when you start to split the categories of Aero, there becomes a debate. True Aero Grow (TAG) is with a high pressure pump and nutrients are broken into 20 - 100 micron size. Then you have basically a variety of size sprayer systems like "HATCH Style" to all the commercial stuff and that is only liberally considered Aeroponics.
