I found this plant and I pulled it and took it home. I would swear it's weed but am not sure. i hope so because there are about 20-30 more of them from 6 inches to 5 feet.
The pics are not the greatest so I will describe them the best I can.
The plants have 3 to five of the familiar looking leafs but the are not as close together as you might expect. The leaves are sorta clumping at the end of the green and purple stems with a small green bump in the center.
Any help will be appreciated.

Why, if you could take pictures, would you rip it out of the ground before you even knew what it was? That's like killing an animal and THEN figuring out if you can actually eat it.

Didn't find them in the woods. They are growing right next to a house against the basement.

I finally found a pic of the same plant that you can clearly see.
Maybe it will help others who thought they hit the jack pot.
I would still like to know what this is.

Dude, now I REALLY am irritated at you.
First, you went on someone's property (=TRESPASSING) to dig up a plant that you WRONGLY believe to be Cannabis, when in fact it is an ornamental called Astilbe, or Goats Beard. I have a collection of Astilbe growing in the shade garden in front of my home as well, and if I saw some punk kid digging them up, I'd take off one of my oh-so-fashionable garden Crocs and nerf-slap him into next week.

You don't know what you are talking about kid.
First of all on weekends I do work for an old rich lady whose husband died 4 months ago, so I am not trespassing.
Second, they were everywhere. It looked to me like someone had been standing on the isolated side of the house smoking and threw the seeds behind the bushes and they were growing wild. The lady has a daycare center at her house so I knew there was no way they could have been planted there on purpose. It's a rich family with rich adult kids, I figured maybe during a visit they were hiding from mom.
Third I have Astilbe growing in my front yard and I can tell you thats not what it is. Never seen a 5 foot Astilbe.
You shouldn't get so worked up without knowing the facts.
