Marijuana for medical purposes is nowhere near legal in New York State, and I have never heard even a rumor of the existence of anything resembling medical dispensaries. Many people are arrested daily for it, even for possession or sale of small amounts. The prices here, if you're lucky enough to find any at all, are about as high as anywhere, and one of the main reason for this is the laws.

I took a break for sometime and am just getting everything lined up AND JUMPED IN 110 PERCENT. I live in NY were marijuana is Decriminalized and now they are starting to run the adds LIKE Oregon NV and other MMJ states ran before becoming medicinal states. My doctor is my neighbor and I was going to ask him if he would prescribe or if he has patients and colleagues who are looking for the medicinal connections.
