A lot of people seem to have problems with anxiety and smoking marijuana. Does anybody here know how to increase the levels of CBD in your plant?

The higher the % of amber trichomes at harvest...the higher the CBD.

^ Just what Dutch Pimp said.

Another possible contributing factor making the high less enjoyable is CBN levels:

CBN (Cannabinol) is produced as THC ages and breaks down, this process is known as oxidization. High levels of CBN tend to make the user feel messed up rather than high.

CBN levels can be kept to a minimum by storing cannabis products in a dark, cool, airtight environment. Marijuana should be dry prior to storage, and may have to be dried again after being stored somewhere that is humid.

Thanks you two!!!! Sure it'll be helpful to others like me.
So just ONE more question, would you be able to see these trichomes' colour without a microscope or strong magnifying glass? And also it's early harvest for amber trichomes right? just in case I misread.... Kinda hard to understand that page

EDIT: Just read some more and I see that it turns amber late in the flowering, then as it starts to degrade it changes again. This sound right?

    No.

    10-20% amber works great.

I read somewhere else they suggested a 30X mag. glass! Learned a lot in this, appreciated!

You can see them start as clear, then later getting milky, and much later take on an amber tint... without magnification (and clear near-sighted vision). You can definitely notice when too many have turned amber, looks like the buds are frosted with brown sugar instead of white.

But don't always rely on your eyesight, you need to magnify to get a good look for accurate %.
