I want to build a very well made device that operates similar to a Volcano. I don't want to make one with a heat gun, I want it to have a heating element, small fan, bag system, adjustable temp.

1) Where can I buy the heating element used in a vaporizer? I want it to be aluminum heating element, ceramic is ok but it doesn't disperse heat evenly. Is there a specific type of aluminum heating element that they use? I'm not getting much looking up "aluminum heating element"

2) Does anyone know where I could find a temperature control unit that reads and adjusts from 250-450 f (130-230c)

Those are my initial hurdles to cross. Any advice is appreciated.
1) aluminum can give off harmful vapors over time when heating up. This is why people prefer ceramics. Really you should be shopping at an electronic parts outlet. I would think that maybe a car cigarette lighter could achieve the results you're wating.

2. You will have to play around with different rated potentiometers to see which ones will allow you to get enough voltage to stay in the 250-450 range. Although if you're just using it for cannabis I would say screw it and just make it 1 temperature... anywhere from 365 degrees to 390 degrees.
