    how far away

well guys I have 5 plants that I am fixing to take out off the pots and put into the ground. I want to spread them out and was wondering how far away do I have to put them for a male will not rape the female. I have never sexed a plant and if i screw up and wait too long I dont want the male hurting my girl. Or hopefuuly girl's.

Also what chemical is safe for putting on and around the plant for bugs will not get at them.

male pollen will travel very far so it would be to hard to control but dont worry you will have time to kill the males before they break open and pollinate your females. I would have your plants at least 5-6 feet apart and no more than 6-8 per plot in case it gets found. I have been using Off insect repellent around the plant and chili powder mixed with water in a small spray bottle and I spray a light coating on the foliage of the plant this has kept bugs and animals from fucking with my shit. good luck
