There's getting to be an underlying theme of homophobia and intolerance of non-'mainstream' gender/lifestyle expressions in this thread that I find profoundly disappointing, especially coming from a community who proclaim themselves free thinkers. All of a sudden this one, insignificant little sub-culture has come to dominate and monopolize any and all themes dark, as viewed by those not immersed in the culture. Frankly I'm getting sick of this whole emo-hatred itself; I wouldn't ever embrace this way of life myself, really not my style, but is it really so outrageous a concept that we just let people be?
