    Can i switch?

Hey guys haven't been on in a long time, i just planted a few seeds a few weeks ago and left them outside (which i have never done before) now they are starting to grow faster then expected with all this great sun we have been having in my area

now the question is, more then one actually:

what is the earliest i can tie down my plants so that they are less visible to others around me?

can i take the plants once they get a little bigger then 4-5" and bring them in?

Should i bring the plants in at night and put under a few CFLs to get more light since they are in a pot or will this light difference mess them up?

Anyone ever switch from soil to hydro?

    Hope someone can help out

Tie them as soon as they are strong enough to take it. Use thick yarn or bits of cloth. Tie loosely.

Be wary of pests going outdoor to indoor. Isolate and treat them for bugs so they don't contaminate your grow area.

No. Do not mess with the photoperiod unless you are using timers to do it, such as in a greenhouse, where you won't forget to move them that one night you are stuck late at work.

It is done, but easier to take clones and establish them in hydro from the start. The switch is going to be stressful and difficult, and the soil on the root system will tend to clog your system.

ok to clarify a little.....i use to have my plants under 24 hour lighting which wasn't a problem i mean i had CFLs but i'm trying to increase the light time to maximize growth. when i feel the need to put it in the dark cycle then i will do it manually with lighting or i will let it just stay outside continuely and work off the sun
