Well, I think you are probably right there. My comment was more of joke about how bad I view Bush to be --- the idea that even an unpopular president like Jimmy Carter could beat him.

To the point of the thread, I think McCain is going to have trouble getting any traction with the idea that Obama is the same as Carter, while Obama will have no problem at all linking McCain to Bush.
