here are some pics of my first grow. Can I take one inside and put it on a 12 and 12 cycle and make it flower. I just moved and have no connections and would like some to eat "as I dont smoke" before fall. What do yall guys think of them so far? All these were planted at the same time. they are about 4 weeks old. Also on the bigger one, Can I go ahead and top it as I dont want a tall plant. I would rather have a fat bush. Also how much longer before I can determine the sex.

the truth is, your questions have already been asked about a zillion times before and what they demonstrate is that you didn't spend even 5 minutes looking for the answers on your own, you just want one of us to hand it to ya'
if you want to learn how to grow the ganja, you're in the right place
be patient, be polite (nobody expects you to kiss ass), do some research (read through some of the logs) and then ask questions
if you actually do the research, it will show in the quality of your questions
anyway, i'd say no, your plants look too young yet to flower

cool man,,,, note taken. I have did some searchin . infact spent 8 hours on here before posting . Thanks for the answer. I did not mean to ruffel any feathers. I seen a post were a guy on here put his plant into flower that were the same size as mine and it just made one big bud. I was wondering because I did not want to wait till fall to at least get something. also I did not find in my search how long it would be for me to determine sex.

i saw that your feathers were getting ruffled, lol, that's why i responded even though i'm no expert
i know how you feel, i felt invisible when i first started comeing here too
don't take it personal, after you've been here awhile, you'll fit in, and you'll know how it is to ignore someone else, lol
anyway, good luck, and go read some threads in the outdoor section, i think that's where you'll find the answers you seek

According to the website I linked below, you can flower a plant using 12/12 any time after they are 5 inches tall. If that is true, then yes... it looks like you can flower one of those. You won't get much bud off it, but you apparently can flower it.
As far as why no one has answered your post... I doubt many people here flower their plants when they are as young as your's are. So perhaps no one here knows. Plus this is the outdoor forum... so we tend to let nature flower our plants, and flowering in nature normally occurs when the plants are measured in feet, not inches. So, you may want to try posting this in the "indoor growing" section and see if you get a better response.
Lastly... are you in North Carolina? If you don't want to say where you are. I understand... but I thought your screenname ("nc") might mean that. I'm in NC, perhaps we are near each other...

I would veg it longer to make sure you have a healthy stronger plant that will be able to suport the bud when you do, Flip it 2 12/12. Right now there a little on the weak side for that. You need to get that stem strong and need more branches so yes top soon. Try to increase the direct sunlight and air movment on the plants this will make a diffrence... Getting lots of wind on them is great for branch and root development. Lots of people like to hide there plants in there back yard or in areas of little light and wind so they tend to grow tall and lanky and when it comes time to bud there having to tie em "up" or use sticks to hold plants upright. Snapping branches is common with this due to over load of bud wieght and moister..." sucks to goto crop and see your girls taking a nap in the dirt..." Determine sex around 2-3 weeks into 12/12 or may show during veg stages also. "depends on strain also"
ps. I would pull out 1 those 2 seedlings that you have in same pot toghter.. chances are 1 will kill off the other in competing for root space and light.. also wouldnt that be a bitch if one of the 2 was male and knocked the girls up?
Have fun eating ya girls when there done! flush em good eh
GOOD LUCK

the two that are in the pot together, How do I seperate them without breaking or killing them. Do I just pull it out and replant it?. I have decided that I am going to leave these outdoors. There is a stream that runs down by my house and I was going to plant them there. I am planning on digging a big hole and fill it with good soil. The only problem is it is all shaded area. I talked to a friend that has been growing for 3 years now and he said it is better to leave them outside until I get a cabnet set up right. Any other suggestions and advice would be great.
thank all of you for the response.
