    New grower, please help

I've decided to start growing because buying is getting too expensive. My friend and I have decided to construct a grow box in his room. I want to be able to grow 2-3 plants at a time. any advice on grow box construction and design would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    dude seriously.

    search.

we cant tell you how to build a box to your standards and what space your using. we know nothing about your situation.

search and find something similar to you situation and mimick it.

When i say advice, i mean: what strain, how many cfl's, what size box to construct, what to build it out of and things of that nature

do you want us to grow them for you too??

i dont mean to seem like an ass, which i probably do, but we know nothing of your situation.

what size room are you growing in?
strain is dependent on you, ie what kind of high you prefer, how long you plan to grow for, what kind of room your working with, etc.
you can build a box out of wood, cardboard, plastic. its all up to your imagination man.

but its alot easier to get the answers youre looking for if you search. not just here, but google other mmj sites and stuff of that nature. its really not that hard man.

    good luck and happy :smokin:

heres a couple of pics and a few links, the first link is the simplest, although you shouldn't underestimate it, that guy knows his shit
the second link is more involved and permanent, that guy knows his stuff too
the third is an old thread but an awesome cab

hopefully, these will answer some of your questions

oh, and don't be offended by kingkronic, you're new here so you have no way of knowing how often noobs show up and ask very simple questions that show they've done absolutely no research
there's lots of useful info here you can find on your own if you look and there's lots of knowledgeable people willing to help you, we just get so many looking for someone to hold thier hands, lol

anyway, good luck and i hope this helps

thank you for the information. i kind of have an idea for a grow cab. i want to have a veg side and a flowering side, that way i can have a continuous grow. we're building this in my friends room, in kind of a big closet with no door. thats why i need to build a cab. i really want to find a good indoor sativa thats good for a beginner.

Cinderella 99 is the "perfect" sativa. Easy to grow, very fast finisher, and a speedy high. It's fairly hard to find pure C99 in bean form right now, but the community has been requesting it so there are more than a few breeders working with C99 right now. Joey Weed and Cannacopia have some C99 crosses available at Hemp Depot for good prices. Wally Duck also has some cool crosses over at Seed Boutique, though they are a bit more expensive. Reservoir, too, has a C99 project right now. Not sure when the seeds will be for sale.. Late summer I think?

There's also Kalichakra from Mandala for dirt cheap available at Seed Boutique. Mandala has solid, cheap genetics that are great for beginners.

Glad you like my cab. Ill see if I can scrounge up whatever drawings I made while designing my cab for you. My cab is a bit big for 2-3 plants so maybe something like 3' wide X 2' deep X 3' tall would be better suited.

Im guessing your gonna attempt to do a perpetual grow so what kind of growing experience do you currently have?

If you dont got bagseed to mess with and try growing check mandala seeds like ORZY said, great prices for the noob grower. Im liking the kalimist I got right now tight internodes, clones really easy, nice buds .

How big are you planning to make the cab? If you give me the dimensions maybe I can plan something out for you .

    stay irie
