But, why would the police or feds for that matter bother flying a helicopter over your house for the 2-3 plants you may grow for personal use?????
Unless you have some sort of commercial operation I do not think it should be any worry. :stoned:

Don't count on it escaping just because it's a "few plants."
It isn't the DEA that's flying over for the most part, it's National Guard troops on training missions. Since there aren't any real wars to fight over US soil, they fight the drug war since they conveniently have all of that heat sensitive equipment on there anyway.
I see Chinooks in particular flying over all the time when I'm in the US.

Yep. They usually don't let anything trivial like the constitution get in the way. They also use scanners for listening in on cordless and cell phones. Its not enough to get a court order but its enough they pickup a little info here and there to zoom in on you.

they make and sell reflective anti heat detecting film. It is hard to find and costs over $300 a roll. I have lined my cab twice with this stuff. Gives me peace of mind

They use them for those that plant thousands in public parks. I wouldn't have them in the open if I was growing in the back yard due to the chance fly over. A dozen or so scattered in the woods or a brier patch shouldn't be a problem.
