A small question about my vape

I'll tell you this, 175c, 180c, 185c and 190c are all completely different highs because different chemicals have different boiling points...

I get your point but digital is infinitely more accurate.

You're misinformed. Having a digital display does not make your vaporizer Digital.

And the accuracy gained compared to the amount of performance that's outputted is the equivelant to adding a k&N air filter to a car. It's not all that great.

There are many analog vapes that will out perform your "digital vape" and especially your $70 vapor brothers ebay knock off.

I'm going to second the direct draw/whip vape. I prefer my vaporbros knockoff that I got on ebay for under $70. Digital readout, actual temperature display, ceramic heating element and hands-free glass on glass operation.
Ceramic elements with glass on glass operation is the way to go; but I particularly don't enjoy throwing my money away. I doubt I'd ever buy an ebay vape. As far as digital readout.. I doubt your $70 vaporizer is as accurate as you think... or really is it even digital or does it just have a digital display? There is a difference.

Also, I don't really understand the whole allure of the bag vaporizers. I know the volcano will last 24-48 hours after inflated but it's bulky and where are you going that you can't plug in a vape?
It's convenient sitting in a circle of friends and being able to pass around a bag as opposed to having to have everyone come take a hit off the whip setup. Especially if you're in a large room. Secondly I can walk around the house puffing. Something I can't do with my vape system.

When I'm sick in bed and can't really move around.. my bag system works way better than trying to use my whip system. There are multiple applications for using a bag. I did not buy it because I had delusions of traveling with it and smoking. That's just stupid.

It's really irresponcible to drive while vaping...
Yes it is. This much should be obvious... but thanks for mentioning it?

I think you all spend too much money on vaporizers. The volcano is cool but it's like the Porsche of Vaporizers. What are you compensating for? The non-digital volcano is a headache to use because you tear through a lot of trial-and-error finding your heat setting. At least with these digital guys, you can google it, set it and have fun.
This is a matter of opinion. If you can't use the non-digital volcano then you really need some help. It's a dial format with each number corresponding to a specific temperature. Really all you have to do is set it at your desired temperature and leave it. I'm sorry that this is too much of a headache for you to use.

Here's a link with all the temperature settings:

Volcano Classic - Air temperature table

As far as it being the porsche of vaporizers. I agree; and I believe it was my money well spent. If anything goes wrong I know I can contact Storz-Bickel and replacement parts will be on their way. Or I can ship my volcano back and they will repair it.

Just like a porsche you are paying for the guaranteed quality that the name stands for. It's all you're paying for but I see nothing wrong with this if you have the money to spend.

A small question about my vape

My only concern is that you can take a LOT of money and buy green instead.

But my unit is quite digital to be honest. As for accuracy. I've tested it with the laser thermometers and it's within 3deg c. It also has a digital readout of actual temp so you can see if you're drawing too hard and making the heat a moot point.

I've had mine for over 6 months needing nothing more than a cleaning.

I'm all for these volcanos but it does need to be stated that you shouldn't have to go into debt for quality vapor.

$500 is going into debt? I didn't know it took such a small amount :wtf:

I know what you're saying though; and I agree get what is within your budget but your original reasoning for being against the volcano was pretty wrong and biased.

As far as your laser thermometer readout. I seriously have my doubts but I'll just have to take your word for it.

Pictures are worth a thousand words.
