First Grow: Jack the Ripper under a Procyon

Very good thread Dr. I've been following various Procyon grows on different foums but most were hydro and I'd very much like to go soil as you did. I have already ordered my own Homebox L & Procyon, Im effin excited! Any update?

The most important update of them all... harvest.

Took down all 5 girls tonight, after a total of 110 days since germination and 60 days since flowering began. Left the two big girls with about 1/3 of their body mass and stuck em under two 24w 6500k T5 HO bulbs running 24/0. Gave em about 1/12 tsp (about .3, .4 mL, or 6-8 drops) of SuperThrive in 2 gallons of water. Only needed about 1.5 gallons, didnt want to go crazy with the water. I'm supposed to switch to veg nutes now starting with next water, right?

First pic is the bud from the smaller 3 plants. Second pic is the bud from all 5 plants. Third pic is the dead/meh plant matter I threw away (had a separate paper grocery bag of good trim that I'm keeping, filled about half the bag), fourth and fifth are the new light and the big girls revegging.

Havent weighed anything yet, still awaiting the bud in the oven for the initial smoke test... Either way, this is pretty much the happiest day of my life. I'll check back in with you all soon with some more info...

hmmm... i have to stop posting replies at odd hours of the night...

update -- hanging in my closet drying at present. smoke test was good, definitely felt like the Jack the Ripper description, not much at first then 5-10 minutes after smoking it was like WHAM!

question, any suggestions on controlling the smell while drying? im receiving complaints from the rents that the whole house smells like a grow op... :wtf: whoops, lol...

Oh PS -- the revegging looks like it has taken, so I'm gonna try and get those girls into some new dirt soon, theyre prolly not enjoying what theyre in anymore...

Great harvest man....good times a comin. Seems traffic has slown down on my threads too, and your right...I think its because we update at wee morning and late night, lol...

yeah guerrilla i cant wait to get going again from clones, the unevenness of my plants really killed me in the end...

final weight was ~2.5oz going into the glass jars... gonna obviously aim higher next time. :jointsmile:

ps, final verdict on the smoke: this weed straight fucks you up. its almost too strong. i think i may want to plant and sex out some of my blueberry x nls and just work on bonzaing my two moms from this grow... im not sure i can smoke this too often without losing my mind lol :thumbsup:
