Well, it's Saturday the 14th and no whiz quiz yet. I am starting on Monday. They have had since last Thursday to do my background check etc. I have a clean record. Also, I was not given any employee handbook or anything that states a drug policy. I am not sure they even have a handbook, it is not a large company. Would they have to tell me if they were going to test me on Monday? Opinions are welcome as well.

As a pre-req. for my start date of June 16th., it said "subject to background check and possible drug test". I interviewed with the VP of the company (about 60 employees) and he was clear about mentioning the background check and why, but he did not verbally mention anything about the drug test, only in the formal letter did it ever come up. Would it be safe to assume that if my background is clean, they would not test me? I have never had to take a Rating: 5
