PROBLEMS STILL..PLEASE HELP

Hello All
I have written before mainly for ph reasons. Could I still have that? or are they hungry from the lockout? So here we go:


S=Answer if you grow traditional soi
E-indoor
Vortex potting soil Lady Bug with 30% perlite
Runoff ph 7
Water is tap with ph down to 6.5 to 7 using liquid ph test so hard to have exact numbers
Tap ph 8
She is 9wks old, starting her 5th week of flowering
Fox Farm grow until flower Then I made a huge mistake and started feeding fox farm bloom that was 3 years old. Now using Schultz 10-15=10 and Liquid Karma
Applied 1/2 stength every other time Liquid Karma is also every other
1 150 w. daylight cfl & 1 2ft t-12,4 bulb both are a few inches away
E-Air temperature lights on is 83 and lights off 80
E-Lighting schedule 12/12
E-Type of ventilation your room has - intake fan at the bottom with an airconditioner in the adjoining room & a circulation fan blowing on the plant. Door left open while light are on.

My biggest concern is she has been in flower a solid 4 weeks and it looks more like a week. Not growing. And of course the many other symptoms, which leads me right back to ph lockout. But I ph my water with my nutes. The leaves have the upside down canoe thing going on. And the color is a very light green slowly turning yellow. tips curl up and down. In the last few days some tips are burnt on the ends and on and on. I flushed them until the water finally was running almost clear then fed with the 1/4 Shultz about 2 weeks ago and Thanks Stinky that was what I did the last time I asked for help But she still isn't healthy. If anyone has any ideas on what I need to do...I'm listeningimp: It is getting late so feel free to to chime in with advice & I will check in the am. Much thanks to all.

Looks like nitrogen lockout. I would knock as much dirt off the roots as possible and replant in some good rich soil. Ocean Forest is a good mix.

also it looks like you may have gotten a little to happy with the ferts? Difinitely get some quality dirt and transplant.

whats teh fert NPK ratio all together? Id say going "over happy" is an understatement but lucky for you it doesnt seem as if they minded as bad as a select few sativa's are known too. Id suggest you double check to ensure your fert has an appropriate amount of Phosphorus for bloom! Also, as others have stated taking off some dirt and putting in some new soil(MAKE SURE TO FLUSH A FEW TIMES AFTER) could do just the trick. P.S. Also, you may want to add together the NPK value's of both the fert's daily serving combined and check if you're producing one hell of a fire bomb or not. As stated prior, their is a suspicion of Nitrogen burn and/or *but not limited too* nute lock. Good luck & report back; hope this helps.

Thanks Forwhat & Frosty for responding, but do you think it is a good idea to do a transplant at this stage of the game.? Also my soil is organic soil with no nutes and my nute npk is 10-15-10 and I have never given it full strength. I also have done 2 flushes, the last one about 2 weeks ago. I know the tips suggest nute burn, but I have so many other problems, I was still leaning towards lockout. I appreciate the response, but I can't see how I could have lockout & nuteburn at the same time. Isn't lockout where the nutes can't get in? Anyone else have any suggestions as to what to do?

You're Nitrogen deficient but also show fert burn.
Flush VERY well with water at pH 6.8.
Feed immediately with a VEG fert which will have a higher first number, or a bloom fert with some added fish emulsion (less than the bottle says, as even bloom ferts still have some N in them). Your plant is very hungry for N, but you only want to give this one feeding with N since you are in flower. Then go back to your regular bloom fert.
You will also want to re-pot into a larger pot. Yes, it's safe in flower; in fact, I like to re-pot during week 3 if I am doing a correct potting schedule.

Thank you once again Stinky. I will do another flush & feed as you directed. I just can't believe I am still having the same problem, especially after I have flushed & flushed. But I respect all that you say and will do it asap.

You may not need to flush, if you have in the last week or so- it's possible that the tip burn is just residual scarring from before.
But getting those plants some nitrogen and a good healthy dose of a balanced bloom fert is important. That is much too early for them to be that yellow. I suggested fish emulsion because it has lots of calcium in it and will help to stabilize your ph as well as feeding the plants.

I have fish emulsion 5-1-1 which I will give them when they wake up. Also I am pretty sure why I am having such a time with things, but just wanted you to verify. It started with using the tap without proper testing equipment add to that using fox farm bloom ferts that were 3 years old. My problems didn't start until they went into flower almost 5 weeks ago and thats when I started using the tap & old ferts. I flushed when I found out my tap was high & got some ph down, but continued to use the old ferts until a couple of weeks ago I read how old nutes, esp. organic ones can break down & change. Of course. I don't know why I never thought about that. And thats why I now have the Schultz. Since moving, the nearest hydro is 80mi. This seemed to have at least the right ratio. Do you think those old ferts could be embedded in the soil and they are not getting flushed away? I will do a repot tonight as you suggested earlier. But I was just wondering if you think this could be the root of my problem? Much thanks Stinky for your help.

I think the old ferts have a lot to do with it, but I'm not sure how much. Just give the one feeding of fish goo- too much, and it will inhibit flower, but you can't avoid it now that they are so far into N deficiency.
Use the ferts you've got now; this is definitely going to be chalked up to a learning experience. Next time you go to the hydro store, go with a shopping list, lol... Basic grow fert, basic bloom fert, bottle of GH Micro for emergencies, and if they carry a humic acid supplement, or another chelator like Clearex, that can be added to your flush solution, that helps release salts from the soil. FoxFarms is organic derived but still kinda chemmy. I find that the botanicare power plant/power flower line whichis very similar tends to be more stable. I'm currently growing with a set that expired like 4 years ago, hahaha!
Re-potting is going to help you. DEfinitely.
