D-Day Tank Unearthed at Chartres

An M5 light tank was discovered yesterday by council workers at Chartres, 55 miles southwest of Paris, during the course of their work. The tank was from the America's 31st Tank Battalion, part of the 1944 D-Day invasion force that recaptured France from the Nazis.
