I aquired a brand new ez clone 30 from a friend of mine who shut down. This unit was still sealed in the box. So i did a test run. I took 5 cuttings, cut a 45, and dipped in clonex gel. Placed them in the machine. The plants actually have a new set of leaves but no roots. Its been 10 days. My rapid rooter clones in my dome are already done. I also sprayed them Vita Grow anti wilt.

After doing some reading i found that they are shipped with some type of coating on them and it requires a 24 hour bleach solution to be ran. I am doing that now.

My question is mainly, Is thier anything i can do besides the clean to ensure successs. My mother plant is going to need some veg time soon so i only have like 10 cuttings to take this time and dont want to lose them. My table would be very empty.

I have heard of also scoring the clone. Just enough to open up the outer layer of the stem. Is this needed in the ez cloner?
Thank You in Advance..
