Transplant ??? Help

I am 2 weeks into flowering and I am worried my plants are becoming to large for their current pots. Is it ok to transplant even though im already into flowering? My current pots are only 2 gallon and these ladies have exploded since I started 12/12.
Rookie mistake.

I picked up some 5gallon pots, a bag of fox farm soil, tiger bloom, and big bloom.

What should I do? Im worried if I transplant they may turn hermi on me

i'd say very definately yes, go ahead and re-pot, i think you'll regret it if you don't.

I usually transplant from 3 gallon to a 5 gallon pot, on the day of switching to 12/12. (when I also give her the last dose of veg ferts)
Sometimes I get lazy and don't get to it till the next week, tho. Late transplanting slows growth for a week or two, but if there are no other stresses, should be fine.

Would stay away from pre-ferted soil mixes for this task, tho. Mixes like Miracle Grow or SuperSoil have too much time-released nutes that could cause problems.

IMHO you are at EXACTLY the correct point to transplant into the final home.
There are 2 reasons for this:
-Stretch is virtually complete in the middle of week 2 and you will know how big your plants are ultimately going to get by then, and be able to choose the right sized pot
-Optimal residence time in any given pot of soil is about 6 weeks before potting-up, to avoid both soil stagnation due to excessive pot size and sections of the soil where roots haven't grown, or pH imablance due to soil salting from ferts or the lime being used up, which usually takes ~ 6-10 weeks depending on a few factors, so I assume 6 weeks to be safe. Transplanting 6 weeks from the end of flower is not a bad idea.

Don't worry abotu stressing the plant; it will be beneficial to give it a larger home with fresher soil. Just be careful not to mangle the root ball. Let the soil dry out pretty well, smack the bottom of the pot with your palm, and it should slide out with no hassles.

Should I give them a light dose of Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom once I get them into the new pots? Or should I stick with just water?
