Ha ha! I know about this long story. I was laying a trap for poor RebGirl so she would have to admit her comment about white middle-aged guys not voting for Obama was about racism, but she handled it pretty well... She's wily...

I just think that Obama is lost on the majority of working class white men.

It shows that in the outcomes of states like West Virginia and Kentucky.

It's not even a race thing. It's more of the fact that he comes off as condensending. Plus many of the working class white majority go to Church and the whole Wright issue (even though completely meaningless in my opinion) really gets to them.
    hahaha. Are you joking?

All I hear is about in the media about the candidates is issues of religion, race, sex, age, like it's so controversal and important. Those are the emphasized issues. These southern white men made up their mind made up from day 1. They'll never vote a black president in office.

    Nope not joking.

I know race, sex, religion and such are all completely meaningless (as it shows in my post).

Race is an issue for many White people but I really think that Obama has much bigger issues than race.

Like the fact that he has almost no experience or the fact that he has socialist ideals with his redistrubution of wealth plans.

Why is race an issue only with white people? Based on my experience living the last couple of years in North Philadelphia, many black people in my neighborhood despise me because i am one of a very few white people living there. Black people are just as racist as white people in my experience.

    ^ Of course they are.

The only differerance is that white people make up 3/4 or more of the U.S. population.

Yea but not all 3/4 of them are racist. If you vote for someone for such a superficial reason as having the same color skin color as them, then you are an idiot. Simple as that. Only 1/3 of the whites, maybe even less are probably dumb enough to do something like that. I can't believe that there would be more than that, not in this day and age. I truly hope for the sake of mankind that this election won't come down to the race card.

    Amen my friend.

Personally, I am not voting for Obama because I hate his politics, NOT his skin.

I remember early on in the primaries I watched some male news anchors on MSNBC say, "Hillary Clinton might win because of the huge female vote". Like having a pair of ovaries makes me wanna throw myself to her cause. I would never vote for her because she is just as bad as Obama. Socialists unite, form of: Oppresive Government.

Voting for someone because of their race is indeed retarded.

I thought politics was supposed to be about POLITICS.

I blame the giant two parties, Dems and Repubs. They spew this other random shit at us so we forget how exactly horrible each candidate is.
