you should be able to get it at the grocery store for like $3-$4
Also...i uh...know a guy...who mixed at a 4tbl/gal ratio on accident for 2 waterings then 2tbl/gal for 2 waterings with a nute water/plain water/molassis water regimen, then switching to plain water/molassis water towards the end and just plain water for the last week, and the main bud grew HUGE but it seemed to take a lot longer for it to finish

I have no idea... people say its good to add molasses near the end based on the claim that the sugars available in the molasses are able to be used by the plant without any processing. However upon further investigation I found that the NPK value and thought about maybe even just using molassess as a substitute for my veg stage organic nutrient... but im still a beginner so uhh we need stinky or someone to confirm or criticize me for a lack of understanding of something lol :rasta:

before we stray too far from the topic, remember that the best indication of harvest time is when about 70% of the tricomes are an nice amber color, yours from your pics look still pretty clear. just keep a small magnifier on hand to look at them weekly, remember that after you harvest them, the plants tend to keep on maturing meaning that the remaining 30% should amber up and make for a great final product

70% amber? Most people want to get stoned, not put into a coma.

There is no exactly right time to harvest. It is a matter of grower preference, with some ground rules. I've never been able to grow anything other then males, so I'm not talking from experience here.
But, from what I've read, basically, when the trichomes start going from being clear inside to cloudy inside, you can start to harvest. Or you can wait for many of them to turn amber colored inside.
The more amber trichomes give more of a "couch lock" type of "stoned" high, the cloudy trichomes give more of a "cerebral" or "energetic" type high. The main thing is not to get it when they are all clear, and not to get it when they are all amber. Clear trichomes do not have the drug your looking for developed in them yet. And amber trichomes are dying and losing potency... so if you pick when they are all amber, many will die as the bud matures while it cures.
If I ever grow a female, I'm going to harvest some of her buds at cloudy, some at amber, and some mixed in between... that way I can compare and contrast and see what I like. You might want to try something similar.

referencing my george cervantes growers bible, it says the max time of THC is at 10-20% amber, after triches become amber, they become brittle and the tips break off easily. and the THC breaks down into CBD CBND etc

I go for 10% amber on indicas and a little more on sats. My friend and smoking buddy would go for <100% cloudy on everything if ya let him, lol... he likes to fly around buzzing like a bumblebee. Personal preference; it pays to know your strain and your tastes.
