i made it to the vegas nugs & jugs about this time last month and what a fine time it was! a mansion off the strip was rented for the weekend for the 50-some of us there and nearly everyone brought their own stash to be shared and critiqued altho trying to judge all those strains in a single evening was impossible so the actual winning of the prize didn't mean much beyond it sure was great fun trying! i'm talking dozens of one or two-toke strains under one roof...not to mention the bubble that was brought and some also brought trim and rag buds for the bubblebag demonstration...instant hash! even a little lsd made it to vegas...but i missed out on that and only found out afterwards...which explained some of the odd converstions happening saturday night that i happened to overhear...lol! and this mansion had it all...indoor jacuzzi, tennis courts, a large pool with a 'cliff' (manmade rocks) to jump off of instead of a diving board, and just about everything else one would need to hold a huge-ass party except for the people and the party favors! i'm telling y'all...TOH & O (our most excellent host and hostess...from icmag) really know how to sponsor a party! people from all over the country either flew or drove in and heard talk of a few were from across the pond!

can't wait for the next one...! i'll be there no matter where it's held...but vegas really did work out great for this kind of deal and can't imagine any place in this country being any better! there's so much to see and do in and around vegas plus the now-liberal attitude of the town makes it even more appealing and safer than in the past...so i'll be lobbying for las vegas one more time!!!

and in the meantime...no need to wait for the next nugs & jugs...we can do that any time! i'm sure we can get enough people together to rent a houseboat and head out on lake mead for a long weekend. it'd cost no more than 200/person for EVERYTHING if we only got 12 people together and rent the large deluxe model and if more show up we can rent as many houseboats as we need! or we can always do the rent-a-mansion thing...both cost nearly the same for same amount of time but with off-season now here houseboats would even be a tad cheaper...

SO WADDAYA SAY??? shall we start organizing something for say, around the 1st of the year? i have a fresh harvest to share and am sure many others are also in the midst of bringing in their summer grows or soon will be...we can call it the Post Harvest Harvest Festival or something...no matter, let's just do it!
