    The Coming Energy Wars

Oil prices could hit $200 a barrel in the next few months. How the spike changes everything.

Start growing your own food and stock up on food that lasts. Get some guns and ammo. If you're in Europe, like me, get a crossbow lol I'm not kidding.

Yeah man things are looking pretty grim right now. I mean we've known of our emminent problems for a long time but I don't think anyone expected it to begin so fast. And that's exactly the problem. The challenges we are about to face can be easily adapted to, however, the fact that it's going to happen so fast means that there will probably be a lot of harship before the glorious outcome if there is one after all of this mess. I suppose depending on how much hardship we will have to endure will depend on how bloody this is going to be. It's like predicting a bad storm. Could be ok but at the same time it could be catastrophic. These are fascinating times we're living in and it will be very interesting to see what the World will end up like when my generation is old....assuming my generation makes it out alive.....hahaha.....sigh....

    The Coming Energy Wars

The things that people have been warning are going to happen for years are finally coming to pass. Everyone always thinks things will change gradually, but they don't. We hear warnings about something bad coming down the pipe and just figure it isn't here yet, we'll see it coming as it gets closer, and we'll have time to get ready when the problem is really in sight. But that's not the way it works. We are out of gas. Let's just hope the extent of the problem is mostly economic, and we don't get any big shooting wars out of this.

The good news for the US is that we are usually pretty good about facing a problem once it is really here and are pretty adaptable when we have to be. We might lose a few compaines and a lot of jobs in affected industries, but if you keep your eyes open and are adaptable, there are going to be a lot of opportunities in new industries. Get ready to jump, people.

    Forget the doomsayers.
The world will adjust, the goverments will push legislation through that will bring about the death of the internal combustion engine.
Those that remain will be expensive and will most likely run on biodiesel.
The electric car and hydrogen cell are the future.
Nuclear energy will become more widespread.
Change is coming but thats all it will be.

I don't claim to know whats going to happen, nobody does, but I find the expression 'better safe than sorry' rings true here. If nothing happens then you can still eat the food you stocked up.

If something does happen, most will be in the sorry camp and start whining like little children to the government but when it doesn't work tribes will be formed and war breaks out. :yippee:
