I'm running a TW cross. It is a strange plant.
You are thinking of the Arcata Trainwreck which is propagated by cloning.
The GreenHouse seedline one does herm late, like clockwork from what I've read, and its release severely damaged the breeder's reputation. I would strongly recommend running Reverse on it to prevent pollination. It's like birth control for your plants- they're gonna grow nanners, but you can keep them from growing seeds too. Get a bottle before you initiate flower and follow the directions to the letter.
I'm not sure about the 90 day thing. You'll want to wait until the plant is sexually mature before flowering, and I don't know how long that strain takes to get there. But you can clone at any time as long as it is large enough to give up cuttings without stressing the plant- limit yourself to taking 1/3 or less of the total mass of the plant in any one cloning session, and allow 2-4 weeks' recovery time.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Is the Myth True? TrainWreck Is the Myth true about TrainWreck in regards to the hole 90 days before flower or clones? I know there is a Artica Strain and the main strain is Clone Only. Well anyway I'm not lucky enough to have either of those yet I do have the GreenHouse Seeds Strain. I heard the myths of herming also which they say is a natural trait of TrainWreck in late flower. They say it should be done in 42-67days big difference. I hope someone had blown this strain out and can give advice. Thanks in advance Rating: 5
