First off they will watch you at a boot camp UA, so there is no way he can substitute period. Second... He is a chronic smoker and will take alot longer than 4 days to get clean. A one time high for someone that was previously clean can take 5-7 days. Drinking tons of water will not help you to get clean faster. Detox drinks will also be a waste because they are nothing but an expensive dilution method.

Your best bet and only hope will be to follow the dilution method the morning of the UA. You will need to load creatine starting ASAP, so get some or start eating red meat. If you follow this to a T you will have a better chance than going in with 6 gallons of water on your stomach.
