Well, I agree that the idea that Dunkin Donuts or Rachel Ray were sympathizing with jihadist by her wearing a scarf is completely assinine. It was a fashion accessory with no hidden meaning whatsoever.
But are you saying that this hubbub never happened? Most of the mainstream media have reported it as a true story, unilike the other Dunkin Donuts stoiries you linked to on Snopes.
Ray did do the commercial for Dunkin Donuts and then some right-wing dumbass moron with nothing better to do started stirring the pot, saying the scarf resembled a keffiyeh and showed a sympathy for jihadists. Dunkin Donuts pulled the ad. That's all true I think. The idiotic part is the controversy over the scarf.
