That sounds like a good idea mate. The Lake District is a great place, me and some friends camped out New years eve there n then climbed Hellvelyn on New years day, good times.

Yes the Lake District is a fantastic place but you have to treat it with respect when walking the fells.
On Friday a 49 year old woman walking Scafell Pike fell 200 ft and died.
So if you walk the fells agian take care.
