i havent heard of a mulch burning a plant so i cant give info on that. at the garden center where i work we sell pine bark mulch that does pretty well.

you could also use black plastic mulch if your worried about your plants getting burned.

My plant is sexually mature but it is nowhere near flowering season (growing outdoors) Now, I know I have early development of preflowers that look more towards the female side but they have no white hairs. They've been there for a while already, and I was just wondering if this had anything to do with the season. Is this normal until flowering has started? Either way, I can't wait 'till they bloom...this baby has a pretty good amount of grow shoots. Thnx Rating: 5
