As you define history rebgirl, here's the people:

- Thomas Jefferson & Benjamin Franklin

I choose both since they're pretty much from the same time. Jefferson is my favorite president. I think he had a lot of great ideas/views/ambitions about/for America. I really like his thinking and a lot of the things he did. Louisiana Purchase, views on cannabis, views on slavery, separation of Church and State, etc.

Franklin was a brilliant man. I liked a lot of the things he did for America as well. I admire his inventiveness. He has many quotes, I think there are gems hidden among them, and I admire a lot of them. He was also a "fun-loving" person, it would be a blast to chill with him.

Btw, rebgirl, my favorite period in history is US history from colonial to early US

- River Phoenix

Stand by me is one of my favorite movies. He did a great job, and he seems like a chill person to be around.

- Brendan O'Rourke

A friend when I was little who passed.

Oh and sorry if this is kind of against the rules of this thread, but I don't really smoke. I wouldn't really like to smoke with these people (maybe they'd like to smoke), but I'd like to converse, spend time with them, chill with them. I'd have some beers though.

And the person has to be from HISTORY. That means not now, in the past. Okay, I would choose: Thomas Jefferson - The biggest Libertarian ever. This man was freaking brilliant. I am huge into politics and history. My main degree is in History (preferbly early American history 1776 -ish) so this would just be a great experience. I just want to pick his brain and get his opinion on the world today. Rating: 5
