Decide my Future

The success of reality tv has lead me to create this thread. Choose an option for me too live out. You choices will affect the rest of my life. Enjoy!

My problem is what do with my life next fall:

Option A: Stay at school at my current university. A small private school in a beautiful natural setting. I've met tons of new stoners and a my totally cool girlfriend out here. It's a pretty well-renowned, so me having a diploma from with "St. Johns" on is sure to get me in with alumni that could help with my Filmmaking career. There is definitely more security for my future in this option, but I'd have to leave my band.

Option B: Transfer to Minneapolis and attend the U of M. The other 3 members of my band are down there so we could pursue our career in music. Get a house with my band members so we can practice whenever we feel like it, and thus giving us a chance to write new songs and develop our music otherwise. This option is less secure, but I'd have to leave my girlfriend and other friends up here.

The choice is yours, so choose wisely!

Are you sure you'd rather let the public decide for you? I say follow your heart. Do what you really want to do.

Quit the band. I mean maybe you're really good and could make it big someday, but probably not. Go with the more-security-for-my-future plan, not the live-in-my-mom's-basement-but-I-still-rock-out plan.

Yes, I'm actually going to decide what to do on my own. I just thought I'd inquire to everybody's opinion and disguise my true motives as an awesome game.

For what it's worth, I would probably go with option A if I were you. Unless you really feel you're going to be the next big thing to hit the charts, you're probably better off staying with your girlfriend and sticking out at your current university to get your diploma, then you can pursue music if that's your calling but you'll always have a safety net.

I picked A cuz, id rather stay with my girl then my band, especially if your alrdy doing good where you are

well I'm the only one to pick b so far. I know I'm staying in Mankato for another year but plan to get pack to my life with my firends in the Twin cities asap after I graduate which should be in about a year and a half, but Minneapolis isn't going anywhere (at least i hope so just do what you think is right for you) Just remember you can always go back to school in the future and you can always play music.
