    ive heard good things about compacted flourescents, but only when they are in a bundle with other lights.

    Your totally right. The compact fluos (or economic lights) have like 20 watts of power...not god alone (if you want some supplemantary light its a good bulb) so if you want a good crop you will need at leas 40 watts and maybe 80w at minimum.

    for good results, get at least a 100 watts worth of compacted flourescents, itll veg your plants very well!! Are you making a grow box? Thats basically where i see all compacted flourescents used!
