lol! America does not have the best technology, period. Japan does. Also America is not the world power, i'd say Israel or china would be the world power, with the US coming a close third. The US just recently became powerful (after WWII). Like it or not, the world does not revolve around America, as much as some countries would like to replicate it. Thats not to say that America is insignificant, i just think to be calling it the "Atlantis of our age" is FAR off from the truth. Hey i love the country i live in (Canada) and i would love nothing more then to say "Canada is the modern day Atlantis", but looking at the facts in an unbiased point of view, sadly Canada is not, nor is America for that matter.

Oh i would also like to add i disagree with America having the most freedoms out of any place in the world, this may sound biased but i honestly do believe that Canada does have more freedom then the US and who knows, Canada is probably beaten by some other Country.

Wow lol! Dude we have every technology Japan has....... that is where we get a lot of it. What do you think they do make it and not sell it to profit? That is how Japan survives by selling technology. We do have the most advanced weapons technology thou. Also China having the biggest army in the world doesn't make it the super power of the world. America has the best all around military with training,logistics,technology,equipment,and money. We spend over 500 billion a year on our military how can we not have the best lol....... It would be sad if we didn't. Like a poster above said Israel is VERY reliant on the USA for money and weapons. While Israel is a regional power saying they could rank 2nd in the world above the USA....... is very laughable. Where do you get your information might I ask?

So i just thought of this awesome question that i don't even know what my answer to it is yet, its not a right or wrong its an opinionatory question, but be prepared to explain what you answer is based off of and if you are challenged then be prepared to give some sort of a positive argument, you cant tell someone they are wrong, but you can try to convince them of your views, but be serious. The Question is thus: What would you consider the "landmark" city of the world to be. To explain Rating: 5
