I think the ultimate answer is 'everywhere' .......which, in the proper sense, is 'nowhere' as well...

I think Buddha said ; 'Pleasure breeds suffering and unsatisfactoriness'........so what 'was' , was . And what 'is' ,exists because of the 'was'...ALL of it.
