well....there was the annexation of Puerto Rico as well as taking America from the Indian tribes. And though we technically didn't take over a country physically, indirectly we control many through economic influences. So in that particular sense we are kind of like Germany but most certainly not to the extent of the Nazi's. We're more like the civilized much more peaceful and logical version of Germany. Anyway I agree with you though P4B, though I don't think we should intervene in other affairs the bottom line is this particular affair will affect us regardless of our involvement. And though, many are right to say that our continueation in this affair will make the situation more sticky for us, it's a little too late for that. Our hands are sticky and now it has become our job to wash it. And on another note, Iran is certainly more like Nazi Germany than we are. For one thing their civil liberties is shit. Women have no rights, gay people supposivly "don't exist", and on top of that, though no one really knows for sure, it would seem evident that they are hiding something considering the fact that they won't let the UN observe the operation. At least America has more freedom and our actions at least in this instance would be to prevent a nuclear disaster.

Iran speaker warns nuclear agency Iran's new parliament speaker has warned that it could set limits on future co-operation with the United Nation's nuclear agency, the IAEA. Former nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani said parts of the agency's latest report on Tehran's nuclear programme had been "deceitful" and "ambiguous".
