    help

Hi everyone just a quick question. I got wisdom teeth out and got vicodin prescribed. So before going to pick up the pescription i found my other vicodin pescription which was about 2 years and 5 months expired. Well anyway after a couple hours i vomited yellow color and it tasted sour and i got a rash on my face. It is still there after a couple days. So my question is why did this happen? was it because the pescription was old or just a bad reaction to vicodin?

most likely bad reaction to vitamin V: did u take something like Benadryl for the rash? I'd say, don't take Vic. again!! 35 yrs. ago, we didn't bother with expiration dates! 5 mos. is nothing! A reaction could be serious, next time I hope u seek help before a few days pass. By the way, every time u take something u r allergic to---it gets worse the next time! Good luck!

Acctualy i have taken vicodin before without any reaction. I took 5 7.5 this time because i thought it lost most of its power. I took a benadryl with the vicodin acctualy because i get itchy on vicodin. Am thinking it had something to do with tylenol. Does what happens to old tylenol? loses power increases or changes into somthing?

have u tried tylenol without V in it? Chances are it is the Vic! Not to mention, you took to darn many! How was the buzz? Age of med. is really not the issue--YOU ARE ALLERGIC! Vicocin is synthetic and perhaps it has to do with that more than anything else--stay organic!

You can use weed for the pain... make some firecrackers, or any other weed edible... if you cant eat solid food, make green dragon! There are several ways to ingesting weed without smoking it, so dont deny yourself such natural, powerful and (why not?) pleasurable painkiller!:stoned::jointsmile::rastasmoke::eat:

Call the Doc about the Vike reaction. You don't want to die.

    oh and,

DO NOT SMOKE AFTER YOU HAVE THE WISDOM TEETH OUT!

I had all 4 out a few months ago and you do not want dry socket.
It sucked not smoking for 2 weeks but I'm glad I did.(Here's my teeth haha.

Thanks reb and co for your respones. I already took the pills tho i feel fine. I can't use any weed smoke or cook because i have a drug test coming up. I guess it was just a bad reaction to tylenol. anyways thanks for all your help.

With an infected tooth or socket, you NEED to go back to the dentist.
You'll probably end up on antibiotics, and likely an anti-inflammatory.
I've removed a post in regards to rec use of perscription drugs. Come on, please leave that subject alone.
Seriously... go back to your dentist if you're having problems. We are not medical professionals here (with a couple notable exceptions, namely FBR, Birdgirl, and Dave Byrd) and can't give good advice.

Yea i went back and he gave cepaxilin or something and vicoprofen. I did not use it as rec i should of stated it better. I accidently took too much it was anything but fun. So i guess i just took too much apap because i thought the pills would of lost most of its power. Anyways thanks a lot stinky and reb.:
