My 1st Grow diary/pics

unfortunatly box is pretty crammed for space as it is without the plant touching the lights, im only doing this for fun and for some personal smoke so I wont be devestated if yeild is a bit low

I think its pretty cool that the mutant tri leaf node has become the largest even though it just sprouted out the side of the plant by itself halfway through the grow

Well when i awoke this morning to visit my girl i noticed that the tri leaf top had once again grown faster than i expected over night and a little of the bud leaf had got sligltly cooked by the light

the other thing which pissed me off was that due to its significant height over the over tops it was making it harder for me to get the lights @ an ideal distance from the other tops so i decided enough was enough and i tied it down

tie down seems to have been a sucess the tri top has moved its top to face the right way

All you need can be found in your local hardware store or $2 shop

I simply looked for 2 plastic boxes that were the tallest in the shop

got some door hinges to join them together so i can open it up for easy access

Got a computer power supply which i hotwired to run 24/7

Got a large case fan

Got a hot glue gun which i used to glue the case fan onto a hole i cut on the side of the box for the case/exhaust fan

also got a bit of plumbing for the inlet and exhaust hole to reduce the amount of light getting leaked out of the box not that the amount i used did all that much ... hot glue again

and last but not least i got as many lights as i could fit in there and bolted them to the top of the box

dont forget to paint the inside of ur box flat white 2 that helps the light bounce around inside the box

Day 20 since i turned the lights to 12/12

Everything from what i can tell is going the way it should

mutant node is not under controll since being tied down, one of the good things about this is because its now tied over the smaller buds growing out from the leaves on the stem are getting a lot more light

Would it be worth while to tie down the other stems in a similar way to let more light reach the lower buds which would then be @ at similar height to the tops?

Hit her up with some nutes yesterday

going to try and put another light in the box @ the bottom to better penetrate the bottom buds

also going to tie down the mutant stem in another way where it is bending to the right so its got more room as its touching the side of the box
