Large Cheap Plant Growing Operation
Since this wasnt getting seen in outdoor growing I posted it here...
Need a little help... Some friends and I are planning to plant a whole bunch of bag seed this growing season by a creek here in Central Texas. We dont plant to waste any money on ferts or anything but i have a small 40 watt fluro at my disposle if needed for sprouting...My question is how how should i plant them? Should I stich the seeds straight in the ground? Should I Germinate them, and then stick them in the ground? Or should I let them sprout and then stick them in the ground? Can someone please answer and give me some general useful growing advice for my conditions...SomeGuy Reviewed by SomeGuy on . Large Cheap Plant Growing Operation
hi ,,
use styrofoam cups.... cheap n can be moved easily NO weight ....
use ur florescent to start ur seeds... one in each cup 1-2 inches in 1.5 is ideal... place florescent light directly on top of cups...(fill cup only 1/2 way with soil u will add more after she sprouts....
once outside temps reach nite temp above 54'f slowly bring them outdoors during the day a few hrs at a time.....ONce ur plants have 3-4 sets of leafs.. this is acheived in the same cup... they should have e nuff roots ta take a calm cool night...... first few Nights cover them with a BOx or something ta hold ground heat,,,
to plant simply remove from cups... add loose soil in hole ta aid roots development and ... let them go.
always. IMhop..

buy some ferts!! i grow in tenn near a creek and must use ferts as well as huall water from the creek for them. i also start outside in peat pots. also unless the soil is very rich and loose you need to dig a large hole and fill or mix in some good top soil.

buy some ferts, they wont all survive without it, it is not "wasting" at all, it couldeasily triple your yield cuz youll have more larger plants. AND you will need potting soil or they will get killed by other plants, wawawa, 20 bux for x amount of weed pounds...... shutthefuckup

sry ,,,,
i see u said u have a creek,,,,
u no there is a great hydro flo sytem u can set up with
2 garden hoses
1 fertilizer bottle (miricle grow lawn fertilizer thingy )
40 feet of polyesterine garden edge( that black rubber stuff 6 inches wide )
place one end of hose in creek facing upstream of course.
place fert. bottle between 2 hoses. run openend of hose to flat field area.
make a c shape using the garden edge 15-20' from open hose.
insert rooted plants within the c and the open hose....i'm sure u se where this is headed...
u will have a hydro system ebb n flo ??.. simply ensure only a trickle of water is flowing threw garden hose and mixing with ferts in bottle ..triickling out to ur bed (plantation)
Bury the garden hose it will work due to constant pressure from stream...
add ferts to container once a week or as u come to visit... nature will take its course with or without the ferts.
trim(top) ur plants BUT do not throw trimmings away simply insert them into ur system they will regenerate FAST... (good oil material later )
always..Imhop...
keeps....

Back in the old days (25 years) when we grew a wild crop out by a lake we'd just scrape up a little mud with the water. We figured what the hell with all the dead and decaying bio matter, it must be pretty decent fert. It wasn't exactly brain dribble but it kept us high all winter!!
