Species:
C. sativa
C. indica
C. ruderalis
There are a couple subspecies that some scientists would classify within each of those.
But gender has nothing to do with species. Your mom was a Homo sapiens too, even though YOU'RE the one with the junk.

C. ruderalis, or Siberian hemp, contains virtually useless amounts of THC but is valuable for breeding the autoflower trait into 'drug' type cannabis. Lowryder is an example of a Rudi hybrid.
All the species within the genus can interbreed and produce viable offspring.

I've heard that Hemp plants used in the agricultural industry is genetically different than a marijuana plant, yet still produces the leaves commonly used to signify a marijuana plant. While the Hemp plant produces these same leaves, it produces virtually no THC. Question: are they really genetically different, or are Hemp plants just bred to contain no THC? Rating: 5
